Known for her soulfulness, fondness for everyone, calm and controlled focus, and enormous work ethic, Belle was truly a remarkable English lab. As a puppy, she trained enthusiastically for hours on end. As a working screen actor, she could learn to do anything asked of her in a matter of minutes—it took her just two to learn to take a person’s umbrella and run away.

Notwithstanding her many talents and accomplishments, Belle was perhaps most beloved for her signature grunt-grunt, wag-wag people greetings.
