Jackson was everything you look for in a border collie and so much more—smart, athletic, high drive, fiery and boisterous, with a strong work ethic, hefty bag of tricks, immense sense of adventure and special curiosity for life.

He assisted with the laundry around the house, cleared geese from the park on cue in a flash and never missed an opportunity to scout squirrels, rabbits or kitty cats. When not on duty, he loved to romp in the great outdoors all day long. Even at 16, he relished new walking routes.

sweetest attribute when fetching the ball at the river, he’d look for families and offer the ball to each kid, parent and grandparent
